The Bose Corporation has licensed a song from the Afro-Cuban album called “D Train” for use in product demonstrations at their retail stores. I play the trumpet solo on this tune!
So if you’re in a Bose store in the near future, ask to to hear Bobby Sanabria Big Band!

Last night was a ton of fun. The band took their performance to a whole new level.
We were fortunate to have the gig filmed in HD. I haven’t seen the footage yet, but if it looks any good, we’ll sure post it for public viewing.
We made a lot of new friends. One in particular happened to be taking photos. His name is Ovi Dio and he did an amazing job. My favorite photos so far. You can see them here.
Thanks to all who came out! See you at the Bitter End on July 11th.

Well yes, I haven’t posted much lately. Here’s a quick update for you:
1. Going to Italy tonight for a few days to play the Verona Jazz Festival.
2. Nees and Vos is going well. We’re playing in Brooklyn this month and the Bitter End in July.
3. N&V will release a live record very soon of our last gig at the Bitter End.
That’s it for the moment. More when I get back from Italy. Peace, a

Well, this is LONG overdue! Here’s a short recap of how things went May 5th, 2008 at the Bitter End.
Our set list looked like this:
1. Introductions
2. Angel
3. Hey DJ
4. (I Ain’t) Going Back To Georgia
5. Stone Junkie
6. Don’t Surrender (Easy)
7. Ain’t No Sunshine
8. Jam
9. Pretty Girl
The band did a great job and our crowd grew about 25 people from our first visit to the Bitter End. This time, we had a bit of a different lineup behind us. Here’s who came to join us that night:
Billy Norris – Bass
Norman Paul Edwards Jr. – Drums
Mamiko Kitaura – Keyboards
Dave Richards – Tenor Sax
Mike Gorham – Trumpet
Ben Dobay – Alto Sax
And… we’re going to release a live recording of the night! Details will follow in the next few weeks. For the moment, this release will be available as a digital-only album. Meaning you’ll be able to find it at all your favorite online music retailers. Here’s a sneak preview of the album cover.
